Tenpoint-paid health insurance coverage continues through the end of the month in which your last working day occurs.

You’ll receive an email from Rippling on or directly after your last day with Tenpoint with detailed instructions and next steps.

You can continue your coverage through COBRA, administered directly in Rippling.

What to Expect

  • Election window: COBRA notifications and enrollment details are sent within 21 days of your last day (employees receive email notices; dependents receive mailed copies).
  • Enrollment period: You have 60 days from your last day to elect COBRA coverage.
  • Eligible coverage: Continue any Medical, Dental, or Vision plans you’re already enrolled in.
  • Retroactive coverage: If you delay electing COBRA, your coverage will be retroactive to your last active day of coverage, eliminating any lapse.
  • Open Enrollment: If your COBRA coverage extends into a new calendar year, you’ll participate in Open Enrollment just like active employees — giving you the opportunity to make new plan elections, add or remove dependents, and adjust your coverage for the year ahead.

  • Length of coverage: COBRA generally lasts up to 18 months, but may extend up to 29 or 36 months depending on the qualifying event (for example, disability or secondary loss of coverage for dependents).

  • About 7 business days after your final paycheck, you can log in to view your rollover or withdrawal options.

You’ll retain access to your Rippling account after your last day — this is where you’ll receive your W-2, COBRA notifications, and any remaining updates.
